We are delighted to share some exciting news for BLBB Advisors. Please join us in welcoming Shawn P. Hoffman, CFP® as our next President. Shawn succeeds Clifford P. Haugen, CFA in this role.
Clif is still here, still advising clients, and this is a change he designed. Clif joined BLBB in 2008 and became President in 2011. In the years since, while serving his own clients as a wealth advisor, he helped lead the firm's growth - from a local firm with $390 million in AUM to a national firm with more than $3.8 billion and 40 employees.
Running a firm at BLBB's scale is not a part-time job, and it deserves someone who can give it their full attention. So at the end of last year, with the support of the Chenery Group, BLBB ran a nationwide search for the right person to lead its next chapter - and found him.
"I could not be more confident in what Shawn brings to BLBB," said Clif. "And stepping out of the President's seat gives me back the time for the part of this work I love most - working with my clients and their families on what matters to them."
Shawn brings more than 26 years of leadership experience to BLBB, including over 17 years guiding organizations through growth with a steady focus on operational excellence and results that last. He has a gift for building strategies that create real value for clients, and he invests deeply in the relationships around him - with colleagues, partners, and the families the firm serves. That combination is exactly what drew us to him.
For more than 60 years, BLBB has remained independent and privately held, helping families pursue their goals across generations. Shawn shares that commitment, and we could not be more optimistic about the chapter ahead.
