How long have you worked at BLBB Advisors, LLC: Approaching 10 months
Why did you decide to become a Financial Advisor?: I decided to become a financial advisor because I wanted to leverage my years of broad experience in the investment industry and be in a better position to help people with their life goals.
What do you like to do outside of the office?: I am an avid baseball fan, and being from New York originally, a diehard Yankees fan. I like following the Yankees so much that I have on many occasions driven up from Philadelphia to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx just to attend a night game before heading back home. One of the problems with that is that I usually leave early – normally in the 7th inning in order to beat the traffic and to try to get home before 2 AM. This has caused me to miss some exciting finishes such as Yankee (former player and current manager) Aaron Boone’s dramatic home run in the 11th inning of Game 7 of the 2003 American League Championship Series to beat the Yankees’ archrival, the Boston Red Sox.
What one piece of advice would you give to someone starting out in the financial advisory industry today?: I would encourage someone starting in the financial industry to always focus on putting the client first. Secondarily, always be curious, ask a lot of questions among co-workers and seek to become an expert in the field through constant networking combined with further education and certification
