Only nonprofit organizations that fall within one of our focus areas and serve the Greater Philadelphia area, with a particular focus on those serving Montgomery and Bucks counties, may apply for a grant.
BLBB Charitable does not provide financial support to individuals, private foundations, or supporting organizations.
BLBB Charitable also does not support organizations whose primary mission is political or religious (such as organizations whose principal purpose is promulgating a particular religious faith, creed, or doctrine), unless the political or religious component is not a primary component of the program.
If you meet the criteria and wish to submit a request for funding for an Education & Leadership Impact Grant, your next step is to submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) through our online system. Each month, BLBB Charitable will review newly submitted LOIs and notify your organization if it has been selected to submit a full application. We request that grant seekers not send any additional materials unless requested to do so.
If you are a current or recent grantee of BLBB Charitable, contact the foundation to discuss any future requests before submitting a new LOI.
Note: Due to our multi-year commitments to several organizations, BLBB Charitable is limited in the number of new grantees it can consider.
If you are invited to submit a full grant proposal, Education & Leadership Impact Grant requests for funding greater than $15,000 or over multiple years must adhere to the following deadlines:
