John helps families, foundations, and non-profit organizations grow, protect, and manage their assets. He specializes in helping his clients develop and implement creative investment management strategies and innovative solutions
John is passionate about helping clients successfully and seamlessly manage financial transitions throughout the course of their lives. He places special emphasis on working with clients as they begin to plan for, and move into, retirement.
John also focuses on assisting non-profit organizations
John’s compassionate spirit is evident not only in the manner in which he serves as a financial advisor to a number of non-profits and charitable foundations but also in the way he volunteers his time to these types of organizations. John is a member of the Board of Trustees for The Williamson College of Trades and chairs its Investment Committee. John also serves as a Trustee for Phoebe Ministries. For the past 18 years has been the Chairperson of the Endowment Committee for the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill. John is also a trustee of The Cedarcrest Charitable Foundation.
Prior to joining Burke Lawton Brewer & Burke, John was an officer in the United States Army
In his free time, John enjoys golf, tennis, paddle tennis, and skiing with his family.
