Alan F. Hinkle
Alan Hinkle is uniquely qualified to counsel his clients on a wide variety of financial matters, including the management of their assets. His financial services career has encompassed many aspects of the industry and he has spent a large part of his professional life developing and establishing investment strategies for corporations, families, and individuals. Alan works closely with his clients to help them evaluate their current financial position and identify personal and financial goals. He then employs a disciplined approach toward building and implementing a customized investment strategy designed to help his clients achieve those goals. Alan regularly monitors his clients’ progress and revises their strategic approach when needed. Prior to joining Burke Lawton Brewer & Burke in 2014, Alan was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Skippack Investment Advisors where, in addition to helping his clients with their investment strategies, he helped local businesses evaluate the mutual fund offerings inside their employee retirement plans. Before joining Skippack Investment Advisors, Alan was an Executive Vice President and the Chief Actuary for Provident Mutual Life Insurance Co. In this capacity, Alan oversaw the company’s Investment Division and helped guide the development of the company’s investment strategy for both its general account and separate accounts. Alan is a graduate of Lafayette College, attended Yale University, and previously was a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. Outside of work, Alan is active in his community. He is active at his church and currently is a member of the Church Council where he serves as Treasurer and as Chairman of both the Finance and Investment Committees. Alan is also the Treasurer of Young Life in Montgomery County and is a board member of the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission. In his spare time, Alan enjoys traveling the world with his wife and particularly enjoys visiting his daughter in Australia.
