Outward Bound and Williamson College
BLBB Charitable proudly funded a partnership between two of its grantees, Williamson College of the Trades and Philadelphia Outward Bound School. More than 100 incoming first-year Williamson students participated in a day of team-building and leadership development on the Outward Bound ropes course. The experience was so successful that Williamson plans to bring first-year students back for years to come!

The Ellis Foundation-BLBB Charitable Financial Planning Scholarship
at the Temple Fox School of Business
BLBB Charitable and the Burke family have long supported The Ellis Foundation and its strong college scholarship and mentoring program in the Midwest. Thanks to BLBB Charitable, the Ellis Foundation has brought its expertise to PA, and will administer a scholarship program for rising juniors who major in Financial Planning at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. This program will help selected students, who have an interest in a career in financial planning, with academic expenses in their junior and senior years, when it is often difficult to find scholarship aid.
