“I’m an Army veteran myself, and for years I have been an ambassador for the Character Does Matter program run by the Travis Manion Foundation. We at BLBB Charitable believe strongly in the work TMF does to advance education, leadership, competence and character, and we are honored to be here as both supporters and runners.”
– John T. Lawton, Vice President, BLBB Charitable
For several years, BLBB Charitable has sponsored the annual Travis Manion Foundation’s 9/11 Heroes Run in Doylestown, PA. The Travis Manion Foundation provides programs and training to empower veterans and families of the fallen, and then inspire them to pass on their leadership values to the next generation. In 2020, it was a virtual run, but Board member John Lawton was still able to deliver remarks to participants.
