​Doug specializes in providing financial and strategic counsel to entrepreneurs and their companies linked to their personal goals.  He is experienced in mergers and acquisitions, advance planning for business transitions including to the next generation, financial modeling including profitability analysis and budgeting, banking relations, and negotiating loans, developing practical and implementable strategic plans, building and enhancing management control systems, and evaluating and mitigating business risks.

Over the course of his career, he has helped several public and private companies develop and execute upon their strategic visions, including running a family office for 7 years, serving as CFO or interim CFO in over 60 acquisitions and divestures, and forming numerous special purpose entities (typically LLC’s).  He has served as an Executive Financial Advisor for the Rocketdyne division of Rockwell International, the Chief Financial Officer of Pierce Leahy Corp., the President of Pioneer Capital, L.P., and the Founder and President of Fountainhead Services®, LLC. For the last 27 years he has been focused on helping entrepreneurs and their family businesses, including taking one public on the NYSE, serving on its board of directors, and subsequently selling it for an enterprise value of $1.2 Billion.

Doug is a graduate of The Wharton School of Business where he received an MBA with a focus on Finance and Strategic Planning. Doug is also a magna cum laude graduate of Bucknell University where he received a BSBA in accounting. He practiced in Pennsylvania as a CPA (inactive) where he passed the exam on his first sitting. In 2016, he became a Financial Advisor for BLBB Advisors, LLC.

Doug is also the Chief Operating Officer of BLBB Holdings, LLC and has worked to improve and to enhance our internal operations and efficiencies, including strategic planning, growth, budgeting initiatives, and overall firm management.
